Yira Collins Sor

Yira Collins Sor is a Nigerian midfielder, born in Lagos on 24 July 2000. He developed in Nigeria with Family Love Academy and 36 Lion FC before moving to Europe. Sor joined Czech club Baník Ostrava in February 2021, beginning his senior career in the Czech First League. In January 2022, Yira Sor transferred to Slavia Praha, where he also featured in European competition. Genk secured him in December 2022, and he continued his development in Belgium as an attacking wide player. His pace and direct running make him effective when carrying the ball forward, stretching defensive lines and attacking space. In March 2026, Sor received his first senior Nigeria call-up, adding international involvement to a career that has progressed from Lagos to Genk.
