Youssouf Nyange Ndayishimiye

Youssouf Nyange Ndayishimiye is a Burundian defensive midfielder born in Bujumbura on 27 October 1998. He developed with Aigle Noir CS before moving to Turkey, joining Yeni Malatyaspor in 2020. Ndayishimiye then transferred to İstanbul Başakşehir in February 2021, where his physical presence and ability to cover midfield and defence broadened his role. In January 2023, he joined French club Nice, continuing his career in Ligue 1. At Nice, Ndayishimiye has been used primarily as a defensive midfielder but can also operate as a centre-back, helping protect the back line and carry the ball forward. He has also represented Burundi internationally since making his debut in 2017, adding senior national-team experience to a career that has taken him from domestic football in Bujumbura to European football.
