Yoshinori Muto
Yoshinori Muto attacks space with quick bursts, runs beyond the line, and threatens the channels. Muto rose from FC Tokyo in 2014, scoring 13 goals in 33 appearances and earning the J-League Best XI. He makes runs, checks space behind. A turning point came in 2015 when Mainz 05's hat-trick against Augsburg showcased his finishing in Germany. He earned a spot for Japan at the 2018 World Cup. Returning to Vissel Kobe, Muto operates as CF or RW, pressing high and linking play to the box, while earning the 2024 J.League Player of the Year. His movement drags defenders, pins centre-backs, and creates separation for teammates. He finishes moves and gets shots off quickly.
