Yannis Letard
Yannis Letard is a French defender who plays primarily at center-back. Born in Saint-Herblain in 1998, he developed in the Stade Rennais academy before moving to EA Guingamp in 2016, where he played for the reserve side. Letard then began his senior career abroad with VfR Aalen in Germany’s 3. Liga in 2018. In 2019, he joined FC St. Gallen in Switzerland, making 26 appearances in the 2019–20 season as the club finished runners-up in the Super League. He moved to Austria with LASK Linz in 2021 and gained UEFA Europa Conference League experience, including matches against Slavia Prague and Maccabi Tel Aviv. After a difficult spell affected by injuries, Letard returned to France with Les Herbiers in 2025. He also represents French Guiana, making his debut in 2023 and featuring in the CONCACAF Nations League.
