Yoan Wakis Koré

Yoan Wakis Koré is a French centre-back born on 16 November 2004 in Bourg-la-Reine. He began his football development at CO Cachan, where he spent five years before joining the Paris FC academy in 2016. At Paris FC, Koré progressed through the youth ranks and signed an academy contract in December 2020. He made his professional debut for Paris FC on 21 September 2021, appearing in a 2–0 Ligue 2 victory over Nîmes Olympique. Koré signed his first professional contract with the Paris club in August 2022. Standing 1.87 metres, he is primarily a central defender but can also operate at right-back. His profile combines aerial presence, positioning, standing tackles and confidence carrying the ball in build-up. Koré has represented France at under-18, under-19 and under-20 level, adding international experience to his developing career.
