Yassine Kechta

Yassine Kechta is a Moroccan midfielder born in Paris on 25 February 2002. He developed in the Paris region with Gennevilloise ES, Racing Club de France and Paris FC before joining Le Havre’s academy in 2016. At youth level, he was involved as Le Havre reached the last 16 of the 2018–19 Coupe Gambardella. He then progressed through Le Havre II, making 33 reserve appearances and scoring three goals between 2019 and 2022. Kechta made his professional debut for Le Havre against Troyes in Ligue 2 on 15 May 2021, coming on as a substitute. Internationally, he represented Morocco at under-17 and under-20 level, including the 2019 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations and the 2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations. He later joined Morocco’s under-23 Olympic squad for the 2024 Paris Games, extending a pathway that has accompanied his rise at Le Havre.
