Yukiyoshi Karashima

Yukiyoshi Karashima is a Japanese defensive midfielder from Fukushima, born on 15 January 1997. He developed in the youth setup of Vegalta Sendai before attending Toin Gakuen High School and Biwako Seikei Sport College, where he studied from 2015 to 2019. After completing his education, Karashima moved to Germany and joined FC Hürth, beginning a professional career outside Japan. He then continued in Lithuania with FC Hegelmann, where his performances helped establish him in European football. In 2023, he transferred to FK Žalgiris Vilnius and took on a more defensive midfield role. Karashima contributed to Žalgiris’s 2024 title-winning campaign and appeared in UEFA Champions League and Conference League qualifying matches. He later joined FK RFS, spent time with HJK Helsinki, and returned to Lithuania with Kauno Žalgiris, continuing a career built across the Baltic and Nordic leagues.
