Yangel Clemente Herrera Ravelo

Yangel Clemente Herrera Ravelo is a Venezuelan central midfielder from La Guaira, born in 1998. He developed in Venezuela with Monagas SC before moving to Atlético Venezuela in 2016, where his performances led to a move to Manchester City in January 2017. Herrera was immediately loaned to New York City FC, gaining experience in Major League Soccer and developing under Patrick Vieira. He then continued his progression in Spain with Huesca, Granada CF and Espanyol, establishing himself as a physically strong midfielder who could cover ground and contribute in both phases. At Granada, he helped the club secure seventh place and reach the Europa League. Herrera later joined Girona, where his role expanded through energetic pressing, ball recovery and late runs into the area. After representing Venezuela’s under-20 side at the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup, he became a senior international and subsequently moved to Real Sociedad.
