Yahav Gurfinkel

Yahav Gurfinkel is an Israeli left-back from Haifa who developed in the Maccabi Haifa academy. He made his professional debut for Maccabi Haifa in January 2017 before gaining regular senior experience on loan with Hapoel Nof HaGalil, Hapoel Hadera and Hapoel Haifa. At Nof HaGalil, he made 37 appearances and scored four goals, while his Hadera spell further established him in Israel’s top flight. Gurfinkel moved abroad to IFK Norrköping in 2021, but his Swedish stay ended by mutual consent in May 2022. He then returned to Israel with Hapoel Tel Aviv, making 47 appearances before joining Chengdu Rongcheng in February 2024. In China, the left-back became a more attacking wing-back, registering 19 assists and three goals in 69 appearances. Yahav Gurfinkel subsequently continued his career with AEK Larnaca, adding an overseas chapter to a path that began in Haifa.
