Youssouf Fofana

Youssouf Fofana is a French central midfielder born in Paris on 10 January 1999. He developed in the Paris region before joining Strasbourg in February 2017 and making his Ligue 1 debut against Lyon in August 2018. His performances earned a January 2020 move to Monaco, where he spent four seasons and became a regular presence in the midfield. At Monaco, Fofana combined ball recovery and pressing with progressive passing, helping the side compete near the top of Ligue 1 and reach the 2021 Coupe de France final. He joined AC Milan in August 2024, bringing his ability to cover ground and support both defensive and attacking phases to Serie A. Fofana has also represented France, appearing at the 2022 World Cup and Euro 2024. He won the Supercoppa Italiana with AC Milan in the 2024–25 season.
