Yevhen Cheberko

Yevhen Cheberko is a Ukrainian defender born in Melitopol on 23 January 1998. He developed through UFK Dnipro and FC Dnipro, making his professional debut for Dnipro in 2016 and scoring his first senior goal in 2017. After Dnipro’s financial collapse, Cheberko joined Zorya Luhansk in 2017, where he developed from a midfielder into a player used at left-back and centre-back. He moved to LASK Linz in 2020 before joining NK Osijek on loan in 2021, and the Croatian club made the transfer permanent in 2022. At Osijek, Cheberko established himself primarily as a centre-back during a spell that included 61 appearances. He represented Ukraine from under-16 through under-21 level and made his senior debut against France in October 2020, returning internationally against New Zealand in June 2025. He is listed with Los Angeles FC, continuing a career shaped by positional versatility and build-up responsibility.
