Yassine Benhattab

Yassine Benhattab is a French midfielder, born in Marseille on 18 November 2002, who has developed through the French football pyramid. He established himself with Aubagne, where his wide attacking play combined dribbling, forward carries and deliveries into the final third. During the 2024–25 Championnat National season, Benhattab scored seven goals and supplied 10 assists, earning the competition’s Best Player award. That form brought a move to Nantes, giving him an opportunity to test himself in Ligue 1. At Nantes, he has been used mainly from wide areas, with the ability to cut inside, create chances and provide an outlet in transition. Benhattab’s progression from Aubagne to Nantes reflects a steady rise built on attacking initiative and positional flexibility, and he remains registered with Nantes.
