Yasin Abbas Ayari

Yasin Abbas Ayari is a Swedish central midfielder who developed in Solna before establishing himself in senior football. He began with Råsunda IS at six and joined AIK Stockholm’s academy at eight, progressing to a professional debut in December 2020. Ayari broke through in 2022, becoming a regular in AIK’s midfield and scoring four Allsvenskan goals. Brighton signed him in January 2023, and he made three Premier League appearances later that season. He then gained English experience with Coventry City and Blackburn Rovers during the 2023–24 campaign. Returning to Brighton, Ayari impressed during pre-season and developed into a more prominent Premier League midfielder, including scoring against West Ham United in April 2025. Comfortable as a central eight, deeper playmaker or advanced midfielder, Ayari links defence and attack with quick passing, forward movement and defensive work. He also represents Sweden at senior international level.
