Yáser Esnéider Asprilla Martínez

Yáser Esnéider Asprilla Martínez is a Colombian right winger born in Bajo Baudó. He was discovered by Envigado FC while playing for his school in the PonyFútbol tournament and made his professional debut for the club in December 2020. Asprilla scored his first senior goal against Atlético Nacional a few months later. Watford signed him in early 2022, where he developed in the English Championship and was named the club’s Young Player of the Season for 2023–24. He joined Girona in August 2024, scoring three La Liga goals in his first season, including one against Athletic Bilbao. At international level, Asprilla debuted for Colombia in 2022, coming on as a substitute for Juan Fernando Quintero, and scored in his second appearance against Guatemala. At Girona, he operates as a wide creator, combining ball progression with chance creation.
