Yunus Akgün attacks space from the right, drifting inside to threaten the channel and pin centre-backs with quick, one-two combos. Yunus Akgün rose through Galatasaray's system, made his professional debut in 2018, and on loan at Adana Demirspor scored 8 goals and 9 assists. He thrives in crowded spaces. His English stint with Leicester City yielded the 2023–24 EFL Championship title before returning to Galatasaray with a long-term extension in 2025. Internationally, Yunus Akgün debuted for Türkiye in 2022 and scored his first goal shortly after.
