William Simba

William Simba is a Belgian defender born on 26 March 2001. He developed in the youth system of Royal Excel Mouscron and entered the club’s senior squad during the 2021–22 season, making nine appearances. In 2022, Simba moved to Club Brugge and joined its development side, Club NXT, competing in Belgium’s Challenger Pro League. After recovering from a long-term pre-season injury, he debuted in November 2022 and became a regular during the 2022–23 promotion playoffs. He later signed for Patro Eisden in September 2024, where he made 18 appearances and scored once before the club and player ended their agreement in August 2025. Simba is also associated with Excelsior Virton and is noted for operating between centre-back and defensive midfield, using his size to contest aerial balls and protect the back line.
