Wilguens Paugain
Wilguens Paugain is a defender born in Thomazeau, Haiti, on 24 August 2001. He began his youth development with AS Nomexy Vincey in 2007 before spending seven years at Épinal, then joined AS Nancy-Lorraine in 2015. Paugain progressed to Nancy’s reserve side in 2019, competing in Championnat National 3. In July 2022, he moved abroad to Akritas Chlorakas in Cyprus, where he made 21 league appearances, and he later represented Latvia’s FK Auda in 2023. After joining Austria’s SKN St. Pölten in late 2024, Paugain moved to Zulte Waregem on loan in February 2025 before continuing with the Belgian club. He represented France at under-18 level in two friendlies in 2018 and received his first senior Haiti call-up in March 2025.
