Willian Joel Pacho Tenorio
Willian Joel Pacho Tenorio is an Ecuadorian defender born in Quinindé on 16 October 2001. He developed at Independiente del Valle, where he made his professional debut in 2019 and helped the club win the 2019 Copa Sudamericana and 2021 Ecuadorian league title. Pacho moved to Royal Antwerp in January 2022, adapting to European football and becoming a regular under Mark van Bommel. During Antwerp’s 2022–23 campaign, he contributed to a Belgian league and cup double. In 2023, Pacho joined Eintracht Frankfurt and established himself in the Bundesliga before transferring to Paris Saint-Germain in 2024. A left-sided centre-back, Pacho supports a high defensive line through positioning, recovery work and composed distribution. He has also become an Ecuador international, and Pacho started PSG’s 2025 Champions League final victory over Inter Milan, becoming the first Ecuadorian to win the competition.
