Wolke Johannes Janssens

Wolke Johannes Janssens is a Belgian defender born in Peer on January 11, 1995. He developed at Peer SV, Bocholt and KRC Genk, where he remained until 2014. Janssens began his senior career with KFC Dessel Sport in 2014, initially playing as a forward and scoring six goals in 28 matches during the 2015–16 season. In July 2016, he joined Sint-Truiden and was later loaned to Lierse for the 2017–18 season. After returning in 2018, he moved into defence, eventually establishing himself primarily as a centre-back while also offering cover at right-back. Standing 1.85 metres, he has brought positional adaptability and experience to the STVV squad. Janssens made 33 appearances during the 2022–23 season and is currently listed with St. Truiden.
