William Ferry
William Ferry is a midfielder from Bury, England, who represents the Republic of Ireland internationally. He began his development with Bury before joining Southampton’s academy in 2017, where he progressed into a versatile left-sided player. Ferry moved into senior football with Crawley Town on loan during the 2021–22 season, gaining regular League Two experience. After leaving Southampton, he joined Cheltenham Town permanently in 2022 and became an important League One contributor across the following two seasons. In June 2024, Ferry moved to Dundee United, where the midfielder has continued to operate from the left as a wing-back or wide player. His game combines ball progression, crossing and defensive coverage, reflecting his evolution from winger into a more adaptable role. Ferry has represented Ireland at under-19 and under-21 level and received a senior call-up in 2025.
