Wagane Faye
Wagane Faye is a Senegalese defender who primarily operates at centre-back and can also cover at right-back. Born on 20 November 1993 in Senegal, he developed at Génération Foot before moving to Belgium. Faye joined RFC Seraing in July 2016 and spent six years with the club, becoming a regular presence in its defensive line. During that period, he made 125 league appearances and scored three goals, while helping Seraing win promotion play-offs in 2020–21 and 2021–22. In July 2022, Faye moved to RAAL La Louvière, continuing his career in Belgian football. His game is built around interceptions, standing tackles, ground duels and aerial challenges, with short passing supporting build-up play. Faye remains part of RAAL La Louvière’s squad, bringing experience and positional flexibility to the defence.
