Willy-Arnaud Zobo Boly

Willy-Arnaud Zobo Boly is a right-footed centre-back born in Melun, France, who represents Côte d’Ivoire internationally. He developed with Rosny-sous-Bois and CFF Paris before joining INF Clairefontaine and then Auxerre in 2007. Boly signed his first professional contract with Auxerre in 2011, made his Ligue 1 debut that year, and established himself before moving abroad. In 2014 he joined SC Braga, initially spending a season with the B team, then helped the senior side win the 2015–16 Taça de Portugal. FC Porto recruited him in 2016, but he made only eight competitive appearances before joining Wolves on loan in 2017. Boly became a permanent Wolves player and helped them win the 2017–18 Championship, later contributing in the Premier League and Europa League. He joined Nottingham Forest in 2022 and, after youth representation for France, committed to Côte d’Ivoire in 2020.
