Vitor Carvalho Vieira

Vitor Carvalho is a Brazilian midfielder who represents SC Braga. Born in Palmas on 27 May 1997, Vitor Carvalho developed in Coritiba’s youth system and made his senior debut in December 2016. He initially operated as a defensive or central midfielder, gradually establishing himself as a reliable holding player. In 2020, he moved to Portugal, joining Gil Vicente on loan before the transfer became permanent. From 2021 to 2023, Carvalho recorded 82 league appearances for the Barcelos club, helping secure a move to Braga in July 2023. At Braga, he has featured in European competition, including the Champions League and Europa League, while also showing positional flexibility as a centre-back and occasional right-back. Carvalho’s game is built around shielding the defence, disrupting attacks and using his 1.86-metre frame in aerial duels, giving Braga a physical and adaptable midfield presence.
