Vítor Manuel Carvalho Oliveira

Vítinha, whose full name is Vítor Manuel Carvalho Oliveira, is a Portuguese forward born in Braga on 15 March 2000. He developed at Associação Águias de Alvite before joining SC Braga at 18, taking a non-traditional route into professional football. In the 2020–21 season, he scored nine goals in 11 matches for Braga’s reserve side. Promoted under Carlos Carvalhal, Vítinha became a first-team forward in 2021–22, scoring four times in a Taça de Portugal match against Santa Clara and registering a hat-trick against Arouca. He also scored a header against Monaco in the Europa League on 10 March 2022. Marseille signed him in January 2023, after which he moved to Genoa, initially on loan and later permanently in 2024. Vítinha operates mainly centrally but can play as a second striker or left winger, using channel runs, hold-up play and pressing to contribute beyond finishing.
