Victor Hugo dos Santos de Sá

Victor Hugo dos Santos de Sá is a Brazilian defender, born on 27 September 2001. He developed through the competitive football environment of Brazil before pursuing his senior pathway in Europe. During his formative years, he moved from work at left-back toward a more regular central-defensive role, gaining experience on both the flank and inside the back line. On 19 July 2025, Victor Hugo joined Paide in Estonia, where the club’s defensive demands offered a new stage in his development. At Paide, he is principally used as a centre-back while retaining the versatility to cover left-back when required. Victor Hugo’s profile is built around defending from the left side, contributing to build-up play, contesting aerial balls and helping manage defensive transitions. His move to Paide marks the latest step in a career linking Brazilian development with football in Northern Europe.
