Vanderson de Oliveira Campos

Vanderson de Oliveira Campos is a Brazilian right-back born in Rondonópolis on 21 June 2001. He developed at Grêmio, having previously played in midfield before moving into defence during his youth training. Vanderson made his professional debut for Grêmio in December 2020 and established himself as a dynamic presence on the right side. In January 2022, he moved to Monaco, where he initially featured further forward as a right midfielder before settling into a right-back or right-wing-back role. For Monaco, Vanderson combines pressing and recovery pace with overlapping and underlapping runs, while also contributing progressive passes and defending the back post. He made his Brazil debut against Guinea in June 2023, marking his progression from Brazilian football to the European game.
