Vanailson Luciano de Souza Alves
Vaná, full name Vanailson Luciano de Souza Alves, is a Brazilian goalkeeper born in Brasília on 25 April 1991. He developed in Atlético Paranaense’s youth system before joining Coritiba, where he signed his first professional contract and reached the senior squad in 2012. Vaná gained experience with loan spells at Canoas and Chapecoense, then moved to ABC in 2016, helping the club win the Campeonato Potiguar and secure promotion to Série B. He continued his career in Portugal with Feirense before signing for FC Porto in 2017. At Porto, he served mainly as a deputy while competing for opportunities at a major European club. In 2021, Vaná joined Aris Limassol, helping the team finish fourth in his first season and qualify for Europe. He then helped Aris win their first Cypriot league title in 2022–23 and remains associated with the club.
