David Valero Climent

David Valero Climent, known as Valero, is a Spanish midfielder born in Alicante on 22 February 1998. He developed through Spanish football, representing Deportivo Alavés B before continuing with Club Portugalete, Marbella FC and Calvo Sotelo Puertollano. These clubs gave Valero experience across the Spanish lower divisions and established his senior career. On 1 August 2023, he moved to Andorra to join Atlètic Club d’Escaldes. Valero has since become part of Escaldes’ midfield group in the Primera Divisió, playing for a side competing for domestic honours and European qualification. By the 2025–26 season, he was appearing regularly and featured in UEFA Conference League qualifying matches. Standing 1.78 metres tall, Valero has also been used in advanced and wide attacking roles, offering positional flexibility as his career continues in Andorra.
