Valgeir Valgeirsson
Valgeir Valgeirsson is an Icelandic midfielder who developed in the HK Kópavogur youth system and made his senior debut for the club as a teenager. In late 2020, he joined Brentford B on loan, gaining experience in an English development environment before continuing his career abroad. Valgeirsson then moved to Örebro SK in Sweden, where he established himself in the Superettan. During the 2023 season, he recorded three goals and two assists in the Swedish second tier. After his Swedish spell, Valgeirsson returned to Kópavogur in February 2025 to join Breidablik. At Breidablik, he has been used on the right side, with the ability to contribute in midfield and wider attacking positions. His recent campaign also included UEFA Conference League appearances, providing experience against European opposition.
