Vahid Selimović
Vahid Selimović is a Luxembourg international defender, primarily operating at centre-back. Born in Luxembourg on 3 April 1997, he developed at FC Metz after joining the French club’s academy in 2005. Selimović signed his first professional contract with Metz in 2016 and made his senior debut in the Coupe de la Ligue against Angers in December 2017, before appearing in Ligue 1 against Montpellier. He moved to Apollon Limassol in 2019 and then played for OFI in Greece from 2020 to 2022. His later career included ND Gorica, FK Željezničar Sarajevo and FC Hermannstadt, followed by a move to Saburtalo. Internationally, he represented Serbia at under-19 level before switching to Luxembourg in 2019. At 190 centimetres, Selimović offers a strong aerial presence while contributing to build-up play from the back.
