Veaceslav Posmac

Veaceslav Posmac is a Moldovan defender from Chișinău, primarily deployed at centre-back. He began his senior career with Sfântul Gheorghe before joining Dacia Chișinău in 2012. Posmac spent five years with Dacia, becoming a regular defensive presence and scoring nine league goals in 128 appearances. In June 2017, he moved to Sheriff Tiraspol, scored on his debut, and helped the club win four successive Moldovan Super Liga titles from 2017 through 2020/21, plus a Moldovan Cup. He also featured in Sheriff’s UEFA Europa League group-stage campaign and was voted the club’s Fans’ Player of the Season in 2018. Posmac made his Moldova debut in 2013 and became a long-serving international defender, contributing two goals. After spells with Turkish clubs Tuzlaspor and Boluspor, he returned home to join Milsami Orhei.
