Veron Brandon Parkes

Veron Brandon Parkes is an English forward born on 28 September 2001. He began his development at Crystal Palace before moving to West Ham United in January 2018. At West Ham, Parkes progressed through the academy and trained with the first team, while also contributing regularly for the under-18s. In 2020, he left West Ham to join Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands, then moved on loan to FC Dordrecht. He made his professional debut for Dordrecht as a substitute against Almere City in October 2020. After a short spell with AFC Varndeanians and time away from professional football, Parkes returned in England with Phoenix Sports and Holmesdale. In 2024, he continued his comeback at Gibraltar’s Glacis United, where he scored three goals in eleven games and supplied two assists on debut. He joined Magpies in July 2025, bringing experience across academy, Dutch and Gibraltar football.
