Veljko Nikolić

Veljko Nikolić is a Serbian midfielder born in Belgrade on 29 August 1999. He began playing at the Arena football school before joining OFK Beograd’s youth system and reaching its senior side during the 2016–17 Serbian First League season. After moving to Red Star Belgrade, Nikolić continued his development with the club’s youth team and a loan spell at Grafičar. He broke into Red Star’s first team in late 2019, becoming an increasingly important midfield option under coach Dejan Stanković. Initially viewed as an attacking midfielder, he also operated deeper, helping circulate possession and support build-up play. With Red Star, he won five Serbian Super Liga titles and three Serbian Cups. In July 2023, Nikolić transferred to Aris Limassol, continuing his career in Cyprus as a technically oriented central midfielder.
