Victor Enok Nelsson

Victor Enok Nelsson is a Danish centre-back born in Hornbæk in 1998. He began at Hornbæk IF before joining FC Nordsjælland’s academy in 2010, where he developed from a midfielder into a defender. Nelsson made his senior debut for Nordsjælland in 2016 and established himself at centre-back during the following season. After nearly 100 appearances for the club, he moved to FC Copenhagen in 2019 and became an important member of their defence. In August 2021, Nelsson joined Galatasaray, taking his career into Turkish football’s highest-profile environment. He helped Galatasaray win consecutive Süper Lig titles in 2022–23 and 2023–24. Standing 1.85 metres, Nelsson is recognised for his aerial play, clearances, interceptions and disciplined positioning, while his early midfield education supports composed short passing.
