Valjmir Nafiu

Valjmir Nafiu is a North Macedonian footballer born in Tetovo on 23 April 1994. He developed at Shkendija before moving into the international youth setup, representing North Macedonia at under-17, under-19 and under-21 level. In 2012, Nafiu joined Hamburger SV after his early development in the Balkans, continuing his progression in Germany. He made his Bundesliga debut for Hamburger SV against Hertha BSC in October 2014 and later appeared against VfL Wolfsburg before leaving the club in January 2015. Nafiu then continued his career in Cyprus and Albania, winning a league and cup double with APOEL Nicosia in 2014–15 and a league title with Skënderbeu in 2015–16. He returned to Shkendija in 2018, helping the club add further domestic success while also featuring in European qualifying matches. Nafiu later played in Kosovo for Gjilani and Ferizaj, and he is listed with Malisheva.
