Valentyn Morgun

Valentyn Morgun is a Ukrainian goalkeeper born on 10 August 2001. Standing at 1.92 metres, Morgun developed at the Metalist Kharkiv academy before joining Dynamo Kyiv’s under-19 setup in July 2017. He helped Dynamo’s under-19 side win consecutive league titles in 2017–18 and 2018–19, establishing himself in the club’s youth pathway. Morgun was part of Dynamo’s senior squad that won the Ukrainian Premier League and Ukrainian Cup in 2020–21, although he served primarily as a backup. After an injury requiring surgery and more than six months out, he extended his Dynamo contract in 2023 through June 2026. He made his competitive first-team debut on 2 April 2025 and later appeared in league and cup matches during the 2025–26 season. Morgun is listed with Kolos Kovalivka, continuing a career shaped by patient competition and progression from academy football to the senior game.
