Vasile Mogoș

Vasile Mogoș is a Romanian defender whose registered position is right-back. Born in Vaslui, he developed professionally in Italy, beginning with Asti in Serie D before representing Real Vicenza, Delta Porto Tolle and Lumezzane. In 2015, he joined Teramo in Serie B and then moved to Reggiana, continuing his rise through Ascoli, Cremonese and Chievo Verona. Mogoș made 41 appearances for Ascoli in the 2017–18 Serie B season and scored seven goals across two campaigns with Cremonese. After more than a decade in Italy, he returned to Romania with CFR Cluj in July 2023. He later joined Universitatea Craiova in early 2025, where he has been used at right-back and centre-back. At 1.86 metres, Mogoș offers defensive versatility and aerial presence, and he made his Romania debut against Sweden in November 2019 before appearing at Euro 2024.
