Vincent Marchetti

Vincent Marchetti is a French midfielder born in Ajaccio on 4 July 1997. He developed in Corsica and joined AC Ajaccio’s senior side in 2015, making his Ligue 2 debut against Dijon that summer. In July 2016, Marchetti moved to AS Nancy Lorraine, where he made his Ligue 1 debut and later experienced relegation to Ligue 2. Across four seasons with Nancy, he established himself as a versatile central midfielder who could adapt to different tactical systems. Marchetti returned to AC Ajaccio in 2020 and played a key role in the club’s 2021–22 promotion campaign, helping his hometown side reach Ligue 1. He joined Paris FC in January 2024, continuing his career in the capital. At Paris FC, Marchetti operates as a central or defensive midfielder, combining ball recovery and positional discipline with short passing and the ability to begin attacks.
