Vincent Marcel
Vincent Marcel is a French midfielder whose career has taken him from Guadeloupean youth football to senior football in France and abroad. He began at La Gauloise de Basse-Terre before joining Le Havre’s academy in 2009. In 2015, Marcel moved to Nice and made his Ligue 1 debut against Rennes on 14 August 2016. He later scored against Ajax in the 2017 Champions League qualifying round, a notable moment during Nice’s European campaign. After a loan at Estac Troyes in 2018–19, he continued his career with Vitória Guimarães, mainly featuring for the club’s B team. Marcel then played for Lokomotiv Plovdiv and Hebar Pazardzhik in Bulgaria before returning to France with Orléans and Nîmes. Listed with Valenciennes, he has developed from a wide attacker into a midfielder who can operate centrally and contribute through progression, creativity and set pieces.
