Victor Jörgen Nilsson Lindelöf

Victor Jörgen Nilsson Lindelöf is a Swedish centre-back born in Västerås on 17 July 1994. He developed with IK Franke, Västerås IK and Västerås SK, making his senior debut for Västerås SK in 2009 at age 15. Lindelöf moved to Benfica in 2011, progressed through the club’s youth system and B team, and won the Portuguese under-19 championship in 2013. His senior breakthrough came in 2015–16, and he helped Benfica win three Primeira Liga titles before leaving Portugal. In July 2017, Lindelöf joined Manchester United, where he became a regular central defender valued for calm containment and progressive passing. He won the EFL Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024 during an eight-year United spell. Lindelöf has represented Sweden at Euro 2016, the 2018 World Cup and Euro 2020, and later joined Aston Villa on a free transfer in September 2025.
