Vasil Kušej

Vasil Kušej is a Czech midfielder born in Ústí nad Labem on 24 May 2000. He began at FK Ústí nad Labem before moving to Dynamo Dresden as a teenager. At Dresden, he developed through the youth ranks and recorded four goals in a single Under-19 match in early 2019. That year, he stepped into men’s football with Wacker Innsbruck in Austria’s second tier before returning on loan to Ústí in 2020. Kušej joined 1. SK Prostějov permanently in 2021, establishing himself as a senior player and earning a top-flight move to Mladá Boleslav in January 2023. At Boleslav, he increasingly moved inside from wide areas to influence attacks between the lines. Kušej made his senior Czech Republic debut against Moldova on 20 November 2023 and later continued his club career with Slovan Liberec.
