Ville Koski
Ville Koski is a Finnish defender who developed through Tuusulan Palloseura and PK Keski-Uusimaa, making his senior debut in 2018. He joined FC Honka in 2019, progressed through its reserve setup and made his Veikkausliiga debut in September 2020. By 2021, Koski had become a regular in Honka’s defence, and he recorded 25 appearances and two goals in the 2023 league season. In January 2024, he moved to Croatian top-flight club NK Istra 1961, where he established himself as a starter. His performances led to a loan to Spanish side Deportivo Alavés in January 2026, and he made his La Liga debut against Villarreal on March 13. Internationally, Ville Koski captained Finland’s under-21s during their qualification for the 2025 European Under-21 Championship and made his senior debut in January 2023. He has represented Finland in the 2026 World Cup qualifying cycle, adding senior experience to his club career.
