Valdimar Þór Ingimundarson
Valdimar Þór Ingimundarson is an Icelandic centre-forward born in Reykjavík in 1999. He developed at Fylkir and entered its senior side in 2016, scoring 20 goals in 71 appearances through 2020. After an eight-goal 2020 campaign, Valdimar moved to Norwegian top-flight club Strømsgodset in 2020. He then joined Sogndal in 2022, where he recorded 14 goals in 56 appearances across two seasons and added seven goals and five assists in 2023. In February 2024, he returned to Iceland with Víkingur Reykjavík. At Víkingur, he has contributed 17 goals in roughly 50 appearances across competitions and helped the club win an Icelandic championship and Super Cup. Valdimar made his Iceland senior debut against Uganda in January 2022, after representing the Iceland Under-21 side.
