Valentin Ionuț Costache

Valentin Ionuț Costache is a Romanian football forward, born on 2 August 1998 in Videle. He developed at CSȘ Videle before joining Dinamo București’s academy in 2014, making his senior debut in December 2015. Dinamo later loaned Costache to Afumați for the 2016–17 season, where he scored six goals in 23 appearances. In early 2018, he moved to CFR Cluj and became part of a side that won five successive Liga I titles from 2018 to 2022, as well as two Supercupa României trophies. After leaving CFR, Costache played for Rapid București and then Apollon Limassol in Cyprus. He returned to Romania with UTA Arad, scoring nine goals in 27 games during the 2025–26 season. Costache subsequently joined FC Noah in Armenia, continuing a career shaped by wide attacking play, movement and pressing.
