Vic Chambaere

Vic Chambaere is a Belgian goalkeeper born in Roeselare on 10 January 2003. He developed at WS Lauwe and KV Kortrijk before joining Genk in 2016. At Genk, Chambaere progressed through the academy and signed his first professional contract in 2018, before extending his commitment in 2021. He also featured in Genk’s UEFA Youth League campaigns, including a victory over Juventus in 2023. Internationally, he represented Belgium at youth levels from under-15 through under-20. His senior experience initially came with Jong Genk in the Challenger Pro League, where he made his professional debut in December 2022. In July 2024, Chambaere joined Union Saint-Gilloise on a free transfer and initially served as cover for Anthony Moris. He later took the starting role, made his debut in the 2025 Belgian Super Cup against Club Brugge, and was part of Union’s 2024–25 Belgian Pro League title-winning squad.
