Valmir Berisha

Valmir Berisha is a Swedish forward born in Deçan, Kosovo, who developed in Sweden with Halmstads BK. He became prominent at the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup, winning the Golden Boot with seven goals as Sweden finished third. Berisha joined AS Roma in January 2014 but did not make a senior appearance for the Italian club. He instead continued his development through spells with Panathinaikos and SC Cambuur, before moving through Aalesunds FK and Fjölnir. In 2019, Berisha joined FK Velež Mostar and helped the Bosnian club win promotion, scoring in the Premier League after the move. He later played for Chindia Târgoviște, Liria Prizren and KF Malisheva, featuring primarily as a forward while also adapting to attacking roles. His international pathway includes Sweden’s youth teams, with Sweden U23 among his structured team affiliations.
