Valentín Barco

Valentín Barco is an Argentine midfielder from 25 de Mayo, born on 23 July 2004. He began as a striker at Club Atlético Sportivo before joining Boca Juniors’ academy after being scouted at nine, where coaches converted him into a left-back. Barco made his Boca first-team debut in 2021 and developed into an influential left-sided player as Boca reached the 2023 Copa Libertadores final. In early 2024, he moved to Brighton, where his Premier League opportunities were limited during his adaptation to English football. He subsequently joined Strasbourg, continuing to develop in Europe through a role that combines left-back, midfield and attacking responsibilities.
