Urko Izeta attacks space, times runs behind the line, and pockets chances as a traditional centre-forward. Urko Izeta made his senior debut in the 2017–18 season with Eibar. He developed through loan spells. He scored 19 goals for Arenas Getxo in the 2021–22 season. Urko Izeta then joined Athletic Bilbao in January 2023, initially for the B-team. He debuted professionally on loan at Mirandés on August 16, 2024, and scored his first professional goal on September 15, 2024. Returning to Bilbao, Izeta tallied 21 goals in the B-team to push them back to the third level. In the first team setup, he attacks the back post and finishes chances.
