Unai Elgezabal Udondo

Unai Elgezabal is a Spanish centre-back born on 25 April 1993 in Urduliz. He developed at Danok Bat before joining Athletic Club’s reserve setup, CD Basconia, in 2012. After leaving in 2014, he continued through SCD Durango and Barakaldo, where his 2015–16 performances led to a move to Eibar. Elgezabal made his professional debut for Alcorcón in September 2016 during an Eibar loan, later returning for further spells with the Madrid club. In 2020, he joined Burgos and helped them win promotion to Segunda División, establishing himself as a regular starter. By his 2024 departure, he had made 144 appearances and served as captain. He joined Levante in 2024, later contributing to their promotion campaign, while his experience and aerial defending have remained central to his role.
