Ulrik Saltnes
Ulrik Saltnes is a Norwegian central midfielder for Bodø/Glimt, born in Brønnøysund on 10 November 1992. He developed with Brønnøysund IL before joining Bodø/Glimt around 2010, beginning a career that has remained closely tied to the club. Saltnes made his senior debut in 2012 and helped Bodø/Glimt win the Norwegian second tier in 2013 and 2017. He was also part of the side that won four Eliteserien titles, in 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2024. A right-footed midfielder standing 1.87 metres tall, Saltnes has developed from a conventional central role into an advanced, goal-threatening midfielder. He contributes through late runs into the penalty area and pressing after possession is lost. Saltnes scored his first European goal against Valur in 2021 and later struck twice against Lazio in Bodø/Glimt’s 2–0 Europa League quarter-final win in 2025.
